Evanston will host nine Hispanic Heritage Month events at six community venues between Tuesday, Sept. 15, and Saturday, Oct. 24, according to a city announcement published Wednesday, Sept. 9.

The series begins with a celebration at Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, 1655 Foster St., from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 15. Events then spread across the city through late October, including Robert Crown Community Center, Gibbs-Morrison Cultural Center, McGaw YMCA, Levy Senior Center and Evanston History Center.

Here is the full schedule:

Tuesday, Sept. 15, 6 to 8 p.m. — Hispanic Heritage Month Kick-Off, Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, 1655 Foster St.

Thursday, Sept. 17, 6 to 8 p.m. — DE AQUÍ Y DE ALLÁ: Historias Hechas Arte (Stories Made into Art), Gibbs-Morrison Cultural Center, 1823 Church St.

Saturday, Sept. 19, 3 to 6 p.m. — Courts of Cultura, McGaw YMCA, 1000 Grove St.

Sunday, Sept. 20, 1:30 to 7 p.m. — Hispanic Heritage 2026 Event, Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave.

Friday, Sept. 25, 6 to 8 p.m. — Latino Family Game Night (Noche de Juegos), Robert Crown Community Center, Room B/C, 1801 Main St.

Sunday, Sept. 27, 4 to 6 p.m. — Nuestras Historias (Our Stories), Evanston History Center, 225 Greenwood St.

Saturday, Oct. 3, 6 to 8 p.m. — Flower Making Workshop, Part 1, Robert Crown Community Center, Room B/C, 1801 Main St.

Friday, Oct. 9, 6 to 9 p.m. — Fiesta Latina con Baile y Karaoke (Latin Fiesta with Dancing and Karaoke), Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, 1655 Foster St.

Saturday, Oct. 24, 6 to 8 p.m. — Flower Making Workshop, Part 2, Levy Senior Center, Locust Room, 300 Dodge Ave.
